Window to the Sea- 24x18" Gallery-wrapped Canvas
A few years ago a dear artist friend showed off a landscape piece containing a vivid yellow sky. That striking piece has been stuck in my memory ever since so I love using that idea to work in a dramatic yellow sky, often contrasted with a violet backlit subject (or other similar complementary colors). In this piece, I was looking to depict an extremely serene scene, which I trust brings peace to the viewer every time they gaze on it.
