The Wish - 24x18 Oil on Gallery-wrapped Canvas
I’ve painted several “Santas” over the years and it always makes me smile when they near completion. This year, I started playing Christmas music in September just to make sure I was in the proper frame of mind while painting my winter series. In this piece, I wanted to portray the innocence of wishing for that extra special toy that we may have dreamed about. I hope this piece warms the heart of the viewer as you reflect on wonderful memories of past Christmases.
