Each year as the weather starts to cool, I like to create a few pieces for the winter season, with a particular fondness for “Santa” pieces. This year is no exception. I was working on several potential compositions with Santa and one of his reindeer and landed on this scene. Santa loves all of his reindeer but whoever ends up with this piece in their home will get to decide which reindeer made it into the painting.
