Radiant Roses- 20x16” Oil on Gallery-wrapped Canvas
This piece is highly impressionistic with very large brushstrokes. I wanted to capture the life of the roses as the sun cascades around them. The liberal use of turquoise in this piece is a little unusual for me but I thought it brought an extra sense of vibrance to the flowers and the piece as a whole.
