Petals and Peace- 24x20” Oil on Linen
This piece is primarily about “color”, the pink hue specifically, which is designed to be comforting and relaxing for the viewer. In order to balance the color scheme and maximize the impact, a fair percentage of blue is also included in the composition. The overall shape of the piece is a “C”-shape so the viewer’s eye is easily led through the tree to the face, or up from the dress to the face. I hope the viewer gets a real sense of peace during each gaze.
